KL, your GDP figure is slightly inflated. and yes, i have in fact several sources for this claim. debt in both the financial and non-financial sectors has indeed been on an explosive path. the USD denominated short term debt that needs to be rolled over every 6 months or less alone is now well over 10 trillion dollars btw.
at the height of the 1920's boom btw, "only" $2 in new credit were created for every $1 of GDP growth.

i will post sources, and exact numbers later, after trading.
