Joel, and they are right Taxes levied on gas in Europe are close or over 100% of cost. From an economic point of view there is no justification to pressure OPEC to lower prices, as long as gas guzling SUV are churned out in higher numbers and air conditioning are running full blast in public places such as shopping malls for example. Save energy and be stingy about it and oil prices will go down due to lower demand. Haim
