<<Doug - I don't see much meat in the first article? Enigma>>

d, I agree.

As a gata nut and a gold bug that never has or will
obtain physical gold except for teeth crowns, there
was no strong Barrick bashing in that article except
to say "Bad Barrick, bad bad Barrick."

Kind of too weak for you to reply in you quick and strong
ways to any anti Barrick post, but you must no matter,
and this reminds me of an off off topic that is one of those
"Much to do about nothing."

Since it is not important I will be brief. Months ago,
less than a year ago, I noticed that while you were still d
and I geared up my Barrick bashing to toe the gata nuts line,
that your posts became much more full and solid with better
pro Barrick returns to the bashing. Infact without me doing
a compare, the then and now is night and day, which leads me
to conclude that either you ???, or more likely that you
connected with a current young technical insider type of
Barrick employee or big share holder, and he does most all
of the replies to Barrick bashing. Bottom line, the now you
and the old then you are either not the same person, or just
my imagination being effect thru the gata nut experience.

Whatever, no need to know.

But to help you reply, I will add Barrick bashing now.

SI: StockTalk: Gold and Silver Mining Stocks

Market Report 6/14/00): Gold.....

... have to say that something worth noting
is in the works. As suggested here yesterday,
the merger between two strong anti-hedging
mining concerns -- Gold Fields and Franco Nevada --
into one powerful entity could be having an direct effect
on other mining companies. If corporate managers have one
major concern, it is the value of the stock in the company
they represent. If the profile of the attractive mining
company to mutual fund managers becomes one that is
unhedged, then there could be a mad scramble to see who
unwinds their hedgebook first. It seems that someone may
have gotten the message early on. Later today.....

(one more off topic please)

I missed out on that early life stuff,
the stuff before teenager as i was too
busy bashing grownups. So what child's
story was Polly Anna ? I know what poly
means, but who was Anna ???
