Outlook?

James Cramer, thestreet.com, in his 8:52am article stated the following:

"Take Wednesday. We looked pretty solid and then Qualcomm (QCOM:Nasdaq - news - boards) turns and Network Appliance (NTAP:Nasdaq - news - boards) gives some outlook that is not perfect and people start selling everything"

Was there some negative news out there that I am not aware of? Did NTAP make an announcement recently forecasting slower than anticipated growth? tia

IBM could sure use the help.

But any such deal would probably be hostile.

Hostile means good for us the shareholders, no?

I once heard -- this was before the dot com mania -- that Wiston-Salem NC has the largest per capita rate of millionaires of any urban area, as a result of RJR employee shareholders who cashed out during the hostile bidding war for control of the company.
