Jon, the interesting thing to me is that it was reported yesterday am, b/4 the BS conference "news" (by TheStreet.com, probably among others) that huge (i.e. institutional) put positions had been established that a.m. due to rumors of impeding analyst downgrades.

Now, ain't that real handy the way it worked out for the put buyers? Sure they just got lucky, no insider info or collusion going on... not in our markets... and the moon is made out of green cheese.

Good email. CNBC as usual interviews Snyder and gives one sentence to competing views. Since the downgrades focus on future quarters -not the current one - there is little the company can do to counter speculation about the future - and this discounts the potential impact of current quarter upside.
