i'm not entirely opposed to this theory. it is quite correct that the many failed rallies in this complex bottoming process have left people with a sense of despondency and cynicism. this latest advance has definitely met with a lot more skepticism than the previous rally attempts. mind you, i'm giving this rally definitely the benefit of the doubt...otherwise i wouldn't hold a boat load of gold stocks. but i'd still feel better about it if the XAU were a bit more perky. :) regards, hb
