Dassault swamps ADSK, PMTC, SDRC in market cap and has almost enough cash to purchase PMTC outright. Not sure they'd want anything more than their customers though. By the way, I'm a Solidworks user/admin type in the process of acquiring a seat of Pro-E (not an easy task in itself, I guess they think they're doing me a favor). Anyway, starting to delve into learning this Pro-E and my first impression is "what a piece of c...". Interface-wise anyway. Now, the old Computervision stuff, that was cool. For its time. Haven't seen it lately under PTC's ownership. Can't speak to Windchill at all, but if it came from Computervision, not PTC, then maybe it's really good stuff.
