FILE: Has anyone heard gossip or rumors that might indicate why this one is behaving so badly? By the numbers, it looks like a screaming buy, but it has been a terrible performer throughout the entire Nasdaq rally. Volume has been heavy the past few days, but the price has only moved gradually downward -- nothing dramatic, just bleeding away.

For anyone who's interested in "beaten-downs" and "value plays," I'm also watching (but am not currently in) VNWK, VRTL, DITC, QCOM, ERTS, CTXS, HLIT, GPSI, and PTEC for renewed signs of life. Some of these should be excellent earnings plays next month, assuming they don't pre-announce a miss.

What do you think about a TIVO short here?

TLGD up 13 holding ELNT. Price/Volume/Volatility breakouts: JMED,AVIR, EMBX, CCBL still holding MCRS. Long JMED, CCBL (just in last half hour) ELNT was a short from yesterday that was covered nicely this morning, I mentioned both ELNT and TLGD intraday and 'recovery' candidates for today. TLGD doesn't need much prompting to recover.

CCBL MACD breakout ADX move from 15 to 36 on the 15 minute chart. A 20 day moving average breakout at 23 1/2 on the daily chart.

JMED is simply a 'dead cat bounce much like MCRS was. Big move after yesterday's range expansion breakdown of the stock (Bearish Engulfing pattern). JMED was an older earnings play that fell on bad times.
