Is there a breakoff point where we discuss this as a merger rather than an acquisition? I didn't go back and look up GLW's debt but Yahoo Finance has debt/equity as 0.44. However, I know a little creative financing can overcome many obstacles! <g> Just thought SDLI might be a little large to get readily snapped up. Wish I had more financial savvy!

I'm not the one to ask, but I've heard several say a merger would be more likely than an acquisition. If Wall Street could accept the whole being more than the sum of the parts, they (GLW) might just pull it off.

As for systems, they're heavily focused there as well as on components. I have a Merrill Lynch report, but it's in pdf format and I'll have to transcribe to post.

Hey, how about the close!!! <g>
