I often tell my boss that I am making great efforts to learn absolutely nothing from what is working in this mania (and it really makes him mad at me, because his job is to outperform next week). I see my game as learning the lessons of 75 years of history, then for the next twenty years I get to play my game against a generation of portfolio managers who only know momentum and tech. I think I'll do OK.
