I know what you mean, but there's actually a reason that a lot of the web design people do at least some of their work in HTML and DHTML even though you can use drag-and-drop programs, etc.... It has to do with being able to take any template and select and change lines of code to make variations in the way that it works. Also, I guess one of the main reasons that so many people learn HTML is because it's useful to know when pages don't work properly... especially on different browsers. That's actually one of the big problems with most web design programs... a lot of them will design a page that works well with Netscape, but not with Explorer, etc... BTW, I think that's one of the things that I think I've heard mentioned about Front Page...works well designing for Explorer browsers, but you sometimes get glitches when using a Netscape browser. I often use Netscape Gold as a web editor, but I've found the pages sometimes look weird when I visit them using Explorer. When that happens, that's the point at which I usually fall back on HTML to resolve the problem.
