Good point about the methane. But that would not argue for tearing down long established dams once all the biomass had finished rotting. And I would think that tearing down all those dams would have to have some kind of environmental impact too.

Somehow there has got to be a middle ground somewhere, between raping the earth vs. erasing all signs of human existence. Everybody seems to want to go overboard with everything.
