Zeev,

I like your numbers.
I am a bit surprised though. I sort of thought RMBS would drop after the 4:1 split. Other equities I have held in the past have dropped just after they split, like the next day AFTER. However, they also had really dramatic runups. I can't say that RMBS's rise from 160-230 is all that dramatic, (compared to exceeding its $480/share). It just seems that RMBS should have another run about now.

Lets hope your turnips have their pulse on the market. <G>
Good luck to all!

Zeev, I've heard you speak of the "coil being wound" on some occasions, but I am not sure what you mean by this. Could you provide a brief explanation? Thanks in advance.

Zeev:

Yes, I am bearish on the RMBS situation, and that of course is based on fundamentals. No need to reiterate the reasons as both sides of the RMBS situation have been well aired.

While I place more weight in the fundamentals of a stock, I don't ignore the technical aspects, hence at the moment, I am a spectator, and for just the reasons you cite..

I actually hope that the stock gets driven up again as an attempt is made to crank up a summer rally. Personally, I don't think this summer's effort will rival those of the last year or two. Too much insider selling, too much pooled/escrowed stock coming out,not much cash on the sidelines, volumes have shriveled, A/D has been in descent now for two years, Asia heading back into the tank (repatriation pressure probable), SEC pressure to clean up accounting, descending profit levels, early indications that the U.S. consumer is starting to cut back on his manic borrowing, etc. don't bode well for the general market. Time will tell.

Best, Earlie

To all:

I must say that, even coming from a Prophet, this was one of the most timely and prescient posts I have ever seen. Totally in the dark, Zeev essentially predicted Friday's short squeeze based on his turnips alone. That was amazing.

Zeev for President.
