Thanks for pointing this out. This was the reason I emailed the question to CNBC for that interview- to get Eli to say precisely this- using removable flash allows the retail price point of the device to be as low as possible--VERY important.

Using a disk drive or embedded flash mean adding the cost of the drive/embedded flash into the retail price of the device.

ABU, Removable flash is ideal for this because as wireless access gets faster, more storage will be needed. It's better to just upgrade your flash memory card than to buy a whole new device with more embedded flash.

Do we really need more storage when wireless gets faster?
Doesn`t it seem that we store more when nets are slow.

Don`t you think that all the hardware maker will go bankrupt if everything can be upgraded using flash and as such they will prefer that we buy NEW stuff with or without flash as the case maybe.
