Kash re <<Remember 3 months ago Intel was gonna be FLOODING the world with 1M cumines/week from 1 FAB.

Even without any further ramp that works out to 16M units/qtr or 50% of Intels TOTAL projected shipments for Q2.>>

Yes, he also mentioned Intel has at least 4 such fabs, so he asked us to "do the math". LOL

It is beyond me why people actually take the time to read his posts.

Hey kash:

This is one opinion we can agree on...Last August it was Athlon MIA, last October it was PWeeIII 700's in abundance, last November it was AMD Q1 = minus $0.72 (versus actual of plus $0.43), last January it was selling puts was bearish (i always thought buying puts was bearish)and repeated dissertations on Intel's increased production which was in fact flat quarter over quarter, last February it was PWeeIII's in abundance (and I was a fool for thinking otherwise), today it's PWee III's in abundance...tomorrow just more FUD!!! and those examples are just scratching the surface...he is a tactically a master of Intelspeak...a most accomplished ambassador, as his record indicates, of promises about future performance that inevitably are shattered!

Kash,

It is entirely possible that Intel is building 1Million PIII's a week at one fab, and throwing most of them away because they are too slow.

Fuchi, who loves Cyrix innovation.
(After all, a 300 Mhz Cyrix chip is just as slow as a 600 MHz Winchip)
