I have to reluctantly side with the bad guys on the browser question. I have so much memory in my machines that I don't notice the bloat, but Netscape, even though its user interface is a lot better than IE's, has been so unbelievably buggy for so long that it's a lost cause. I know that every time they come out with a new .xx release, the same bug that has haunted me for years, where it confusedly tries to interpret image data as HTML and my screen turns into a sea of question marks, is still going to be there, and sure enough, it always is. It's also more likely to hang than IE, although IE ain't exactly bug-free either. No matter how many Open Source Pubescents worked on this "version six" Netscape that's been coming out since before they were shaving, it's never, ever going to consume a processor cycle that's owned by me. Of course leave it to the great minds at the Evil Empire to not put a newsreader in Outlook. If Outlook had a newsreader I would spend hours hand-editing my registry to remove every single trace of Netscape to the last bit. Boy, I must be bored. --QS
