robert, being south of 50, maybe it takes a few years of watching the "analysts" in action before one reaches the conclusion it is a given. By the way, since VLNC is a topic for discussion tonight, it is a perfect example. The one "analyst" following VLNC happens to work for the firm that did investment banking for them. As the stock hit $40, he reiterated his "strong buy" recommendation and upped the target price to $50. Within a couple of weeks, the stock had fallen below $30 on its way to $14. Another by the way, its amazing how the tide has turned on the dotcoms. I see ETOYS has done a $100 million floorless deal. It will be interesting to see if any analyst upgrades follow to give the floorless bandits a higher base to slam the stock.
