I also just hate it when those dirty old MMs pull this trick: they throw out bad ticks just to screw up the charts. This one really burns my chops! :-)

HRZG is a pig. They back away on me a lot. I don't have that problem with any other market maker.

Vadym all these things you're saying sound just like the people on Kimberly Lee's old thread. I learned a lot of bad habits from lurking there.

LOL!

My favorite set of quotes on this matter:

- MMs keep ABCD down in order to buy more shares cheap;
- MMs shake weak hands, then run ABCD where it belongs;
- I ain't selling, they won't get my shares cheap;
- INCA is the worst offender, I wish they were banned;
- when will SEC finally forbid them to keep good stocks down??;
- I just hate HRZG, they jump on the ask of any stock I bought.
And if stock goes in their favor, comments anyway sound like: We caught those MMs with their pants down!

Speaking of manipulation...this is a circumstance that i do not totally understand though have theories

Stock opens then drops 10% intraday, pops back up a little bit then:

one can see INCA (or whoever) on the ask , for lots of volume, obviously shares to be unloaded or shorted.

There seems to be buying demand...why doesn't INCA lift up a couple levels and sell higher?
