1. China income was never even included in QCOM's revenue stream and financial models.

2. If, if GSTRF fails, QCOM being a 6.4%shareholder, and having some receivables from that co, might at worst see up to 10 cent impact in 2001. This will probably not happen, and if G* fails, its impact will probably be a few cents for the year, But QCOM will probably beat the estimates by many times that amount next year when 3G revenues start piling in.

3. in Korea demand might slow because of the repeal of handset subsidies, but the reason for this repeal in the first place was that Korea wants to export those phones and increase its foreign exchange earnings.
