Ed ... syner 12 month target of 50 for qcom is as far fetched as piecyk target of 250. When the stock was around 180, people was lining up about a block long to open an account at a brokerage firm. I asked what stock they were going to buy? They said: Qualcomm. Then I said: but, it is already 180, is that not too high? The answer was: I am not worried because it would hit 250 as the projection of an analyst.

now at 60+, people are shying away. the brokerage firm is empty. stock is on sale but no takers. if macy's has some dresses on sale 50% off, you could see the crowd.

it will be a missed opportunity not to get in the 60+ as it was a missed opportunity to those who did not to sell at 175+.

yes i also got assigned on the jan02/200 option sold at 130+, so in essence i am paying 69 1/2 for qcom. this is the risk that i was willing to take for that ditm put, and i am not complaining.

the volatility will continue today and until the end of the quarter due to window dressing.

best regards

paul
