What an industry !!

You've got that right!

Trying to nail down earnings' estimates is so difficult, these companies need to move to real-time updates.

I'm almost afraid to go out for coffee. . . :)

I agree! Ackerman was, as always: calm, focused, professional, and optimistic.

Mark H. asked Ackerman the lifespan of fiber in the ground. Ackerman said at least 50 years. Mark H. asked if this would cause a lack of repeat orders, and Ackerman said he completed a study which indicated that demand for fiber is infinite. Communication will only expand in the future.

Very positive interview. The company has strong demand for its products, its in the right sector, and has excellent management. The company is expanding its facilities in various locations to satisfy demand.

(The guest host, David Simon, asked if the SDLI rumors were true, and that this was an opportunity to deny the rumors. Ackerman said he doesn't comment on rumors. I wish these interviewers would ask questions that can be answered. Everyone knows Ackerman wouldn't respond on an acquisition rumor! What's the point of asking the question when CNBC has limited time for questions?)
