Good Morning Jenna,
I think you mean WL #4 instead of #3.

<<ALERT Stock #4 earnings play June 22 triggers taking out yesterday's high>> ENE in 71 3/8, Stock #9 today's watch list nice company third time on watch list triggers

The earnings play (#4 June 22) was added last night to the calendar as it already had a technical breakout during thursday's trading. We will be teaching you that a watch list stock can pull back and should not be entered in a down market until at least 30 minutes or even more if the nasdaq keeps moving down. In fact if the nasdaq keeps moving down in the morning session I would look to short first and go long a little later. ADBE was my first choice to short this morning as I saw it trading down in the after hours. I was waiting for a sign that the nasdaq would help take it down and I shorted ADBE at the bell and covered RFMD a few minutes later. I'm already higher on the ADBE short than what I lost on RFMD. How do you decide all this in a few minutes? I had this plan last night while writing an article: "Short Time Shorty Shorts" - Bursing the Bubble of the Earnings Play AFTER earnings.. Earnings plays, especially ones near their highs are very good candidates for a short of the earnings report day especially on the backdrop of a falling market.

On the other hand if an earning play shows that it is bucking the trend in a down market, chances are good that it will continue to buck the trend and if the market improves it will move even higher.
