i actually think it's a first. i have gleaned from the Bre-X board that a) people are strapped into their seats in the type of helicopter he was riding in, and b) that the thing goes 100 mph, at which speed it is almost impossible to open the doors, unless one really puts an effort into it. so the chopper must have been hovering when he 'fell out'.
no doubt someone helped him along...being dead and thus unable to talk, he was apparently singled out as the fall guy, so to speak...:)
