Imanaged to get through to the ICU myself this AM at about 8:00. I was informed her condition was unchanged, unconscious and entubated. The nurse told me they are watching her closely. I would also say, that as she is entubated, it is best to keep contact with her to a minimum so I suggest that the hospital may severely limit visitation even if it is usually allowed. In fact, it may be better for Edwarda NOT to visit until the breathing tube has been removed and to be very careful to limit your physical contact if you do decide to visit and gain admittance. Hello E,

I just read your note with deepening sorrow about the plight of Edwarda... Although I had only a brief cyber encounter with her.. I find her one of the the more delightful members of SI.. She truly carries the essence of life...

All the energies I have and can send across the continent to help in her recovery are being mustered.....

E, we have pleasantly passed words in the past.

I intend to call the hospital daily. Neo has given me the specifics. When it appears rational to visit, I will rush right over - Edwarda and I live in the same Area Code.

I will report.

But, all that aside, won't you please reproduce that almost photographic description you wrote of Edwarda after you had lunch together?

To many, she is vitality on the desktop - and that alone. Your verbal portraiture adds much flesh to the bone.

Please,

George

PS: Terry, we are graced by the ability to see goodness in others. I actually see it in you - marred only by the cropping up of pedantry.
