I have stopped following PWAV, WOW that is large drop, just another Greg Flash in the pan stock. I hope PWER doesn't follow the same route. I have no idea why PWAV has dropped, I'll look into it. here we go from beefing.com

<<
12:50 ET Powerwave Tech (PWAV) 51 1/2 -8 7/8: -- Update -- Also potentially hurting this stock today is a USB Piper Jaffray note which says that the firm is comfortable with its estimates for PWAV, which allow for a small upside. Given that PWAV has beaten estimates by a large margin in each of the last six quarters, this appears to be hurting the stock today. Regarding earlier comment, note that TQNT makes power amplifiers for handsets and PWAV for base stations and thus they do not compete, but the perception that they do might nevertheless be a factor.>>

<<11:48 ET Powerwave Tech (PWAV) 53 -7 3/8: As noted in previous ANAD comment, Triquint (TQNT) appears to be gaining market share in the power amplifier business, specifically with ERICY; this appears to be hurting PWAV, whose biggest customer in Q1 was ERICY, at over 10% of sales.>>
