360NETWORKS IN DISCUSSIONS WITH
CALL-NET TO PURCHASE FIBER ASSETS

Vancouver ? In response to inquiries, 360networks inc. announced today
it is in negotiations with Call-Net Enterprises Inc. (TSE: CN and CN.B;
NASDAQ: CNEBF) to purchase fiber optic infrastructure in Canada and the
United States.

The companies will make a more detailed announcement if a definitive
agreement is reached.

co-location services to telecommunications and data communications
