Well thought out bp, this investors will be adding anytime RMBS drops into the 70's which I give it a 50/50 chance to do.

Then my question would be why would you assume the LEAPS position was hedging the shorts, it could just as easily be longs trading LEAPs to augment their long position, as I and many others have done in the past.

My long position is entirely in LEAPS (although I did reduce it slightly today). My intention is to sell more in due course and exercise the rest.
