Linux came about as an alternative to Unix From a bunch of hackers who were to cheap to pay for the real thing. And Unix came about as an alternative to Multics. Do you kick your dog when you get home after work???? If you're married, I hope you don't use the abusive language on your wife you use on this thread when you are frustrated... FYI: Linux was in the lab until INTC invested in RedHat. That infusion of capital is what got RedHat off the ground. INTC didn't feel they were "allowed" to do such a thing until the DOJ climbed all over M$FT. It was shortly after INTC's investment in RedHat that Linux suddenly became an alternative to Windows. Check the facts for a change, Andy. You'll see that I'm RIGHT and you're WRONG. PS: don't bother responding until you do.
