The beauty of it is that Grandma doesn't need to know she's using it or where it resides, just like you don't need to know where your electricity comes from in order to use it. Windows 9x, by contrast, is a piece of garbage that runs on your PC. You know a lot about it because its failure rate is so high. Just like the way you get to know the mechanics of a used car that keeps breaking down. Solaris is a professional O/S & Windows is for kids to screw around with after school.
