the jury on the NYA is still out imo...it rests right on the 20-dma now.

i just observed something interesting: the unweighted NYA actually DID make a new high, several in fact lately. BUT the same formation that looks like a bullish ascending triangle on the cap-weighted NYA,looks like a rising wedge on the unweighted NYA...furthermore, the two are now in non-confirmation. the other non-confirmations we've seen in recent years always involved new highs in the weighted NYA not confirmed by the unweighted...in conjunction with the McOsi summation popping above the zero line it looks almost as if money moved from big caps into the broad list. very strange...
