Studies have shown that prayers help--how is a mystery. When I first read about Edwarda's plight, I called a friend who has a prayer chain at her church, and asked her to add Edwarda to the list of those in need of the positive influence of prayer. I felt very teary eyed as I made the request. I hadn't realized how much I care about those on SI. For me, SI is like an on-going story, constantly evolving. Sometimes I like people, sometimes I don't. But I love the fact that Edwarda has brought people together, united in their caring. How perfect. I want to help too.
