CC,
Most of my life was spent in, or around, a town of 12,000 people so, don't tell me about them good old boys around home. Been there, done that.

Sam Rayburn was around DC more than he was Texas, and was not that great when he was around. Just another political hack. Bush may sound a little less conservative than some would like it but, clinton sounded like a conservative until he got elected, and then the socialism poured from his pores. Much will surprise you after Bush is elected. You liberals won't like it but, I will revel in it. ~H~

Those folks of whom you speak will still vote for Gov. Bush, realizing that gore is NO answer.

Wonder why there is not an Iced Tea Al thread where you can harp for gore.?

Texas, of course, will be a clean sweep for Bush.
