Bob/all,
It appears that Ultra already has permits for at least six NEW wells at Stud Butte, Jonah field. According to the records these permits were applied for and granted last week. You can check this for yourself at the following:

wogcc.state.wy.us
Click on "Search for Location of Well":
For Section enter "23" and "24"; Township "29"; Range "108"

These sections, by the way, are surrounded by or near sections with McMurry wells which ARE part of the parcel that AEC was willing to pay C$910 MM for. Draw your own conclusions . . .

One additional point. Jonah wells, as I understand it, are several thousand feet LESS than anticline wells (see map at UP site) in depth so drill times should be shorter.

(P.S. Bob -- Gotta love them "happy feet!")
