Dear CB: On-line much longer than I had planned. But feel a response to your post is appropriate. I may put my foot in my mouth frequently, but with shootie's PM, what in hell could I do? He has me as a dissembling bastard - to which I will not conform. I seriously feel the sister's plight is a side-track. It has distracted most of us from Edwarda's plight. I feel that much diversion has just sort of happened on the thread. Phone calls, and PMs, and emails have been dedicated to a matter of, at least, secondary relevance. We are, goddamnit, dealing with the possible death of one dear to most of us. And it is weird. It affects all of the Goddies on the thread as well as the non-Goddies. It is Wrong. It should not be happening. I am glad that shootie got shot down from many perspectives. His statements had no validity. The far right ridicules Rodney King by mocking his "Can't we all get along" statement. I sit abashed. Wondering not about sisters, but about intentions. Do we really want Edwarda to survive? Or, is this another phase of the sit-com game that controls our lives. When Neo informed me of the situation, very early this morning, I dis-believed. Give us our chance when we get up to bat, and then deal with us. Do not strike us with the ball while we are in the next-up, or whatever, box. I am blathering. My distance from the Hospital is not as short as you may feel. I am close to saying that I Pray. But, except for the concept of Lather and Terry, that is senseless. I never should be writing this. Another shootie may come up and brand me as insincere. They are threatening to take a friend from me. They shouldn't do this. Geo.
