CC,
I don't know what they were thinking, and personally wish they hadn't done it. One thing no one seems to remember, is that when Texas became a state, there was a clause,or some other agreement, that Texas could divide itself into 5 separate states at any time, because of it's size. Maybe too many people have not studied Texas history as they should have. Does the shoe fit? Perhaps that idea should be revived. The only reason it has been overlooked is because too many Texans have been intense on being the largest state in the Union. Just think about it. Ten Senators, and 5 Governors, and an unknown number of additional Representatives. ~H~
