Edwarda,

You do not know me.

I've seen your name on different threads, read your posts, and you often make me smile. You are smart, witty, and obviously loved by many. Having read every post on this thread and I can almost picture you in my mind.

These posts have managed to clear the cobwebs from the rusty old thing beneath my sternum that I had forgotten was there. I'm not used to feeling this way and I'm not sure I like it. So for purely selfish reasons, get your butt back here so all of this touchy-feely stuff will come to an end. Yeah I know, "don't read the thread!" I've tried but I keep coming back. You obviously have some sort of demonic power over all of those who come in contact with you.

I do not pray but I will add my thoughts and wishes to those on this thread.

Get well soon.

Fred

(damn you for making me get choked up)

I just called the hospital. As of 8:20am, no change in status. Since you and JLA will be there to inquire into details, I just got the status report, and will leave it to you to probe for more information..........

Although the first time I was in New York was for the World's Fair, my first trip to Manhattan was right after 6th grade, with my father and stepmother and nearest brother. We saw the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the United Nations, and some other things. We also took the Circle Line boat around the island. It is over 3 hours long, and I began to get bored. There was a very pretty blonde girl, about my age, upon whom I became transfixed. I began to follow her around the boat, just enough to keep her in view. When I told Edwarda this story, she said, "Well, it couldn't have been me,I never took the Circle Line", and started laughing. Indeed, it couldn't have been her anyway, since she would have been 16 or 17 at the time. Nevertheless, with all of the people coming to the thread to express affection for her, I fancy that she and my pretty blonde were somehow related...........

I'm so glad about the meeting tomorrow, George. That was a wonderful idea. I will call Rambi for an account of it. I know you love Edwarda, and she loves you, too. She speaks of you with the greatest affection. No hard feelings, I hope. Bye for now.
