J., good articles. WAVX is one that I have been following for a year, and recently I heard some good things about it from a programmer that works for one of the big/biggest entertainment companies, that is developing multiplayer games. He is convinced that WAVX is the best stock to own. Some people are calling games like Everquest, "Evercrack", it is so addictive. This person seemed to think WAVX will eventually become a necessary product for many online activities. I have a very small position in WAVX, but if my other stocks can go up first, I may buy some more WAVX. I don't know who will do better between storage and optical networking companies. I do think there are some areas where the companies that fuse the two together could take leadership positions in the future and leave the others behind. That is one reason I like Finnisar. They have SAN products and optical networking products. I think you are right, about how, if REAL Networks worked with FC SAN companies, it could be a good thing. Currently there are so many problems with websites getting overloaded with streaming video for live events. Yesterday I was listening to a radio station in Los Angeles, that was running a webcast of a live concert in Anaheim, and they kept apologizing for no one getting access to the website because it was overloaded. They needed a SUN SAN with Ancor's multistaged fabric. By the way, it seems like if websites could handle more video traffic, the radio stations could all evolve into Web TV Stations pretty easily. Promoting events over the radio station and then getting people to tune into their webcast could be very effective. Especially if they developed their Web TV Station into a portal for getting people into other websites, where they charge a micro-commission, like $0.10 or $.20 (with a WAVX chip) to see the content that the live performer is discussing. Combining Optical Networks with SANs seems to me to be the most effective way to achieve the robust storage network necessary to support widescale conversion of Radio Stations into Web TV Stations. Also to support the conversion of National Broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, into interactive Web TV Players. Supporting high volume video streaming and interaction is a strongpoint of FC SANs. I would like to see Optical SAN Networks become the most effective way to support this and grow so fast and so big, that all other networks become irrelevant, and everything is viewed in terms of the best way to connect to your local SAN Island, because from there you are multistaged to all the other SAN Islands around the world. This is probably unrealistic, but it is interesting to think about the possibilities. Joe
