"Are you sure these deferred rev's aren't related to royalties received from MSFT? I thought the original $175M received was to be recognized over multiple periods."

dreydoc- No. Had nothing to do with MSFT payments. I'm certain of that. And yes you are correct about breaking up the so-called, "royalty" payments into even quarterly payments of $10 million/quarter. I say so-called, because originally it was based on sales of TSE(like a real royalty payment). But they just scrapped that whole plan and made it simple, even, quarterly payments. Again, all from memory. -MikeM(From Florida)

PS No, I did not see the PR you referenced. I'll read over now. Thanks.

dreydoc- I think, but am not certain, 'embedding' and 'using' are two different things. I don't believe the ISV will be paying to embed. My guess is they(or their customer) pay if/when it's deployed. They may ship their software package and their customer may never elect to use ICA. The incentive for the ISV to embed is simply another option they could offer their customer to enhance the value of the software package. That's how I read it and I certainly could be wrong. -MikeM(From Florida)

PS My guess is it takes some type of key(paper license?) to unlock the ICA protocol if the enterprise decides to deploy ICA.
