The hard part is finding low priced options in the right area. The DOW and BKX have already broke, the QQQ is too high priced so there needs to be something else found.

Even though I have never traded straddles, I think what you stated above is probably the common problem with straddles during these times in the market. But I also imagine there are times the short term sentiment in the market can throw the market so far off base that it may be easier to find low priced options in the right area. Just a thought.
