I hope she recovers completely. By now the obvious possible causes should have been tested for to determine if one of them, is in fact the cause. They should be looking for the lesser probabilities by now. For example....Hanta virus, or does she pick her own mushrooms, (sometimes people mistakenly eat a "death cap" mushroom) etc etc etc. Isn't there a site on the internet where doctors from anywhere in the world can be contacted and asked for help in difficult cases? I seem to remember reading about one, but I haven't been able to locate it. Maybe someone else can. Good luck Edwarda.
