Here are 2 websites that show you what a POS Rambus technology is. Read some of the articles, for product information in the semiconductor and hardware arenas, or just for your own edification.

In general, the RMBS technology has yet to prove that its outrageously expensive memory is any better than ordinary SDRAM in numerous speed clocking tests.

Ali, if the new material in the continuation was already cited in the original patent, the continuation would not be granted, that is why you cannot find in the "755" patent the "programmable register" of 262. Each of the continuations, while addressing the same family of devices, add another element of innovation. One of the earlier continuation covers the register, and the 755 covers the programmable register.
