Sure - but their supplier HAS TO BUY THE IMPLANTERS and add that cost into the wafers !!

You keep thinking that AMD can get something for nothing !

The article stated that the cost/wafer is expected to decline to $100/wafer at the 130nm generation.
That would add circa 50 cents to the production cost of a processor.
Well... What does 20% performance improvement do for the ASP?

Do the math before you post Paul...
