Jim, I'm baffled as to why some on this thread (you) are so threatened by realistic, balanced viewpoints. Tell me which one of my 5 basic tenets on Rambus has been incorrect: 1. DRDRAM is a lousy price/performance tradeoff for current microprocessor designs. 2. DRDRAM may be a good solution for 2GHz+ CPU's. 3. DRDRAM is a good solution for network processors. 4. DRDRAM is a terrible solution for Timna. 5. Rambus stock will explode upwards if they get royalties from DDR/SDRAM. Scumbria
