Hi Susan,

I hope you are having a nice summer in the great northwest. Thanks for the great links to historical charts..

My work is on a "buy" and was surprised by the the severity of the triple witch sell off. Maybe just that. I don't know.. My daily is long.. the hourly was long until that sell.. Didn't get hurt except for a few lost points on my investment stocks.. Trading a few "hot stocks" and getting a little IPO action.. so OK week.

As you know, I look at Up/down volume, the the NYSE Beta and the VIX for market direction.. I would like to see the VIX work it's way up without pressuring the SPX down so there would some more slack.. Volume relationships IMO are fine.. I don't look at Ad/Declin for direction because so much money can go into so few heavily weighted stocks as to direct indices... Been keeping an eye on the banks, because it provides a key to the fundamental back drop. Kind of recesssionary looking to me there.

Good fortune to you.
