Hi ALTERN8- Are you still invested in AA? I was just curious. My position is a little strong (for me) at nearly 4,000 shares. I bought my last chunk at the end of May...just before the split. My gain is handsome at around 16% so far. At least it beats the pounding I have received from ATHM. I sold some shares (a $9,000 loss so far). I still hold a few shares, but I'm not sure why. I keep thinking the ATHM ship will come in. Unfortunately, the waters are still very choppy. I should have exited a long time ago. Famous last words. At least my last sale was 25% above where it is now.

What a great company AA is. They really know how to acquire and actually make it work. This is the undisputed leader in the aluminum business. No company comes close. I predict a year-end stock price of around $45-50. Was 50 your exit point? I believe it was the CEO who said it should be $60 by year-end. He has great confidence. At least that is what someone reported on another thread. That would be nice to say the least.

I have not posted much anywhere lately. I've been vacationing and working on projects. School begins next week, so I'd better get prepared.

Take care,
Ed
