Did you mean that the Verizon dealer was paying $13xx for the phone or selling at that price? Thanks for the "real world" anecdotal info.

Went to a local Verizon store last weekend (6/17/2000) to set up a new account. While we were talking about phones I asked about G* and the sales rep said the phones weren't in yet and didn't pursue it any further. I think she was new, but still.

I found some G* brochures on the bottom of a rack behind a misplaced brochure.

So. . .not much happening in suburbia.
