Getting the CDC involved seems like an excellent idea. I hope those doctors go for it.

I would suggest consulting not only CDC, but possibly NIH? I am working on a case where NIH was able to make a diagnosis that Fairfax Hospital was unable to make. Of course, since New York has such a large population of people from all over the world, they are probably familiar with diseases most doctors in the US only read about in books.

Neo, that was almost a cheery and heartwarming report. One particular aspect of it should be of great help to many. The status of the hospital. I would hope that location, diagnosis, and treatment concerns would be greatly allayed by your description of the facility and its standing.

I close, after a full day, with a tweaking question that I am positive I should not post - but am doing so in spite of that knowledge: What would the circumstances surrounding Edwarda be right now if there were no Claudia, Maureen, Eileen, and, even, no SI? I believe the answer is "pretty much the same as they are." Isn't that sort of difficult to wrap your mind around?

With respect,

George
