Michael,

Microsoft's ActiveXcrement technology is the epitome of lax security. It's an open invitation to destroy everything you don't need and abscond with everything valuable on a user's system. UNIX has long been guarding against serious and not so serious security breaches and they're not trying to mask that computers connected to a network will always have some vulnerability. Likewise, Java technology is designed with security features from the ground up: not as an afterthought. NT's security rating is based on a system that is NOT connected to any network, did you know that? If your bank is using NT, change banks my friend.
