Thanks for asking. I addressed this on the NTAP thread, but here goes:

It is a very logical, unalarming possibility. Here's why:

NTAP experienced a 120% growth in revenues quarter to quarter its last quarter. The cc stated clearly that there was a significant order backlog. That backlog was caused by strong bookings. But, I surmise, that during the last few weeks of the quarter, NTAP management, watching the books very closely, slowed and delayed shipping some of those orders because they were well ahead of their numbers and knew that the next quarter (now) is traditionally a tough one for seasonal reasons.

So, assuming the bookings this quarter are near the bookings of last quarter and the backlog from last quarter ships as well as all the bookings from this quarter, then revenues will exceed bookings.

No problem for me!
