Sooner or later we have to realize that oil supplies are being exhausted... Yes, there will be new discoveries, but not fast enough for the expanding international needs... The answer still lies in alternative energy sources... I'm not talking about windmills, but a real concerted effort in the areas of solar to electricity, modified atomic power, etc... The answer may even come from something not yet contemplated... The Star Trek Dylithium Crystals may not be that far fetched an idea given a concerted effort in the research area... : >

Until the power of the oil lobby dollar is diminished in the Halls of Congress we'll continue to be at the mercy of an inner circle of oil moguls in the U.S. and Middle East... Maybe if gasoline hit $4.00 a gallon they'd get the message in Washington D.C....

PS: If Bush wins, don't expect any change in the status quo towards alternate energy sources...
